(Senior) Expert Microsoft Purview (m/f/d)

Your chartered goal
- Administration and configuration of Microsoft Purview solutions, as well as the design, review, implementation, and monitoring of Purview controls, including the assessment of their effectiveness
- Collaboration with specialist departments to review and ensure the adequacy of Purview controls and policies
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant data protection regulations, including GDPR, PCI DSS, and HIPAA
- Ensuring accurate collection and reporting of KPIs in the area of data security, as well as analysing KPI data to identify opportunities for optimisation and implementing necessary improvements
- Performing supplementary duties as assigned
Your previous ports of call
- Degree in engineering, computer science, business informatics, information technology, information security or a comparable technical field of study, or equivalent relevant professional experience
- In-depth understanding of Microsoft Purview solutions, including Compliance Manager, Data Lifecycle Management, Data Loss Prevention, DSPM, Information Protection, Insider Risk Management, and other modules
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards such as GDPR, PCI DSS, HIPAA, etc.
- Several years of IT experience at a global level, as well as at least five years of experience in the field of cybersecurity with a focus on data security programmes
- Expertise in the implementation and management of Microsoft Purview solutions (including Compliance Manager and Information Protection)
- Experience working with global data security programmes and technologies
- Good German and excellent English skills, as well as confident use of MS Office 365
- High level of ethical judgement and integrity in handling sensitive information
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing security landscapes and new threats
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
