Your chartered goal
- Planned maintenance and repair works on all galley, laundry, and sanitary equipment
- Maintain and operate vacuum toilet systems, greywater systems, freshwater systems, and wastewater treatment plants
- Inspection, cleaning and report on laundry and guest cabin greywater discharge filters
- Installation and maintenance of plumbing systems including cold and hot water faucets
- Check and repair steam and water pipes in coffee machines and other kitchen equipment
- Monitor and manage consumable inventory and report shortages to the Hotel Engineer
- Support onboard hygiene, safety, and sustainability standards
Your previous ports of call
- Mechanical Education or similar & professional experience (min. 5 years) in the plumbing industry, including at least 2 years on board cruise vessels
- Expertise in vacuum toilet systems and GF pipe technology, press fitting and plumbing installation, maintenance of coffee machines and laundry systems, as well as welding (TIG and MIG)
- Ability to assess technical issues and solve problems independently and quickly
- Good English skills as well as the ability to work in a team
- Technical understanding and service orientation
