AIDA Cruises: Dr. Ali Arnaout is the new CFO & Senior Vice President Business Development
Dr. Ali Arnaout (45) joined the AIDA Cruises executive management team on May 5, 2014 as the new CFO & SVP Business Development. He therefore succeeds Paul Soulsby as CFO, who was appointed Senior Vice President Shared Services for the Costa Group in Genoa in January 2014. From now on Dr. Arnaout is responsible for the Finance, Controlling, Legal and Business Development departments at Germany’s leading cruise company. In his new function at the Rostock corporate headquarters, he reports directly to Michael Ungerer, President AIDA Cruises.

Before joining AIDA Cruises, the doctor of business administration headed Engel & Völkers Capital AG as CEO. His professional career is closely connected to the MPC group, where he was managing director of MPC Münchmeyer Petersen Real Estate Consulting GmbH as well as authorized signatory and member of the MCP Capital AG group’s top management.
With a fleet of ten ships, AIDA Cruises is Germany’s leading provider of cruises to more than 180 global destinations. By 2016 the AIDA fleet will have grown to twelve ships. The company currently employs 6,900 people on board its fleet and at its corporate locations in Rostock and Hamburg.
750,000 Facebook fans on board
