New AIDA Kids & Teens Show with hip-hop band “Deine Freunde

Rostock, 17. December 2014

The acclaimed hip-hop band “Deine Freunde” will be thrilling children and teenagers on AIDA ships from March 28, 2015, with a new Kids & Teens Show. “Fettes Brot” live DJ Markus Pauli, “Echt” drummer Florian Sump, and Lukas Nimscheck from Schmidt’s Tivoli will even be on board AIDAmar in person for the premiere.

Under the title of “Seetag” (Sea Day), “Deine Freunde” who are popular with children and teenagers, will be packaging their adventures during many sea voyages into an exciting story about family vacations on board the AIDA ships. Virtually all guests – big or small – will recognize themselves in songs that shouldn’t be taken too seriously, such as “Sonnendeck” (Sun Deck) or “Fahrstuhl” (Elevator). The songs, presented with a lot of humor, a pinch of satire and amusing animations on the stage, make the show into an unforgettable experience for actors of whatever age, their families, and the audience as a whole. In recent weeks the band worked with the team from AIDA Family Entertainment, the Hamburg “Gewandwerk” and the children of the Hamburger Musical Company to prepare for the dress rehearsal which took place recently at Entertainment House on Seilerstrasse in Hamburg.

On AIDA vacations, children don’t have a chance to get bored: action and adventure, pirate parties, board safaris, creative choices, having dinner together, a mini disco and lots of other entertainment are all waiting to be discovered. The AIDA fleet offers its little guests aged three and over a wide range of exciting programs and no end of fun. Meanwhile, young guests aged from 12 to 17 are welcomed by the Teens Crew. On many cruise dates, children aged from 2 to 15 years can stay in their parents’ stateroom (in the 3rd and 4th bed) free of charge. Teenagers and adults can also travel as the 3rd and 4th person in a multi-bed stateroom at very special rates on short cruises, with prices starting as low as 75 euros and/or 100 euros per person. When booking an extra stateroom, children aged 2 to 15 get a 35 percent discount. Guests aged from 16 to 24 can avail of a 25 percent discount in their own stateroom.
