On three dates in May, June and August 2018, visitors will have the chance to tour both AIDAperla and AIDAsol in Hamburg in just one day.
AIDAperla celebrates her premiere in March 2018. The Hanseatic City of Hamburg will be the start and end port for her seven-day Western Europe cruises to Southampton, Le Havre, Zeebrugge and Rotterdam. AIDAsol is already a long-standing guest on the Elbe and during April, May, September and October 2018, will sail on several short 4-day cruises to Amsterdam and Dover. In between times, AIDAsol will depart from and return to Hamburg in June on a 17-day cruise to Iceland, Spitzbergen, Norway and the Lofoten Islands.
During the guided tours, visitors on board both ships will get some exciting glimpses of the public areas, discover various types of staterooms, and can take a stroll through the restaurants. The visit will start aboard AIDAsol at either HafenCity or in Altona (depending on the port terminal). After the first tour, a shuttle will convey visitors to the youngest member of the fleet, AIDAperla, at the Steinwerder dock. This discovery tour will be rounded off with a lunch in one of the buffet restaurants aboard AIDAperla. Afterwards all visitors will be driven back to the terminal where the tour started.
These new double ship tours will take place on May 5, June 2, and August 18, 2018. The tour costs 49 euros per person, with free admission for children up to and including 15 years of age. The shuttle service and lunch are included in the price. As a token of our thanks, all new AIDA guests, and guests who have not traveled with AIDA in the last five years, will receive onboard credit of 50 euros* if they book an AIDA cruise within six weeks of the tour.
Apart from the double ship tours, this year for the first time, AIDA is also offering themed ship visits. These include a Family Day, an Asparagus Festival, a Wellness Special and a Culinary Tour.
Bookings for all ship tours can be made at www.aida.de/schiffsbesuche.
