AIDA Cruises is sending a total of eight ships to the Elbe during the 2020 cruise season. These ships will dock in the Hanseatic City 97 times. AIDAcara is kicking off the nine-month AIDA season at the metropolis on the water with its arrival on February 8, 2020. Along with AIDAcara, the ships AIDAaura, AIDAdiva, AIDAluna, AIDAmar, AIDAperla, AIDAsol and AIDAvita will call at Hamburg Port by the end of October. The most frequent guests on the Elbe are AIDAperla with 26 and AIDAsol with 21 port calls.
Those who’d like to learn more about AIDA’s wide variety of vacation options departing from Hamburg or worldwide will find just what they’re looking for at the AIDA fair pavilion at “oohh! The Leisure Worlds at Hamburg Messe” until February 9, 2020. They can even book their dream vacations right there at the fair. With the AIDAnova show stateroom, a very special highlight awaits guests.
Another sensation will be AIDAaura’s arrival on February 22, 2020. The experienced world traveler departed from Hamburg in October 2019 on an XXL-adventure and after two equator crossings and 117 days of sailing around the world she is returning to the Hanseatic City. On October 26, 2020, it will again be “Cast off!” for the fourth AIDA World Cruise with 41 ports in 19 different countries, on four continents.
In May 2020, AIDA Cruises is participating as main sponsor for the ninth time in the 831st HAMBURG PORT ANNIVERSARY. From May 8 to 10, two cruise ships will be there on the Elbe with AIDAperla and AIDAsol. The highlight on the water will be AIDAperla’s spectacular light show on Saturday evening, May 9, 2020. AIDA will again be offering some very special attractions on shore as well.
For all ship spotters: On May 30, 2020, three AIDA ships are visiting the port with AIDAperla, AIDAsol and AIDAvita. Those who’d like to explore the world of cruising on this day can visit two ships at once. Ship tours are offered in Hamburg from February to October 2020. Visitors can choose from a variety of tour packages. On special family days, big and small explorers can view the different ship areas and experience fantastic entertainment in the Theatrium. Gourmet fans can enjoy a culinary world cruise with an a-la-carte menu and different tastings. On the open SPA day, visitors can experience the heavenly oases on board.
