AIDA Cruises offers gap year to bachelor’s graduates
Starting now, the cruise line is offering bachelor’s graduates the opportunity to gather practical work experience on shore and on board the AIDA fleet.
“Young people who have earned their bachelor’s degree can gain professional experience with us before pursuing their master’s and travel the world on our ships,” said Romy Schwittay, Manager Junior Programs at AIDA Cruises.
At the company headquarters in Rostock, the young professionals get to know their respective departments based on their study subjects and gather first experience. Then they go on board: Here, they live and work as a crew member in an international team and travel to the most beautiful ports on the seven seas.
Applications are being accepted now for the following subjects: onboard media, guest relations, human resources fleet management, operational controlling, and shore excursions.
More information on the gap year can be found at www.aida.de/careers. On Instagram and YouTube, subscribers of the reality series “The Crew” and “The Crew Journey” can learn more about attractive entry-level and career opportunities on shore and on the AIDA ships. And on the brand-new AIDA career podcast “Crew Stories” on Spotify, crew members provide an exclusive look at life and work on board.
