From September 6th to the 13th, 2014, on board AIDAmar, it will be all about wellness and the sauna experience on this very first AIDA Therme Erding sauna cruise. A unique sauna program has been developed for the Baltic Sea and Upper Bavaria in collaboration with Therme Erding. It will be rounded off by stays in the new Victory Hotel Therme Erding and Europe's largest thermal spring world.

The sauna cruise will commence September 5th on land with a stay at the world's largest sauna paradise and an overnight stay in the thermal springs' own hotel. On the 7-day Baltic Sea cruise to follow on board AIDAmar, wellness enthusiasts will depart Warnemünde and enjoy a professionally prepared on-board program with daily sauna events and spa treatments combined with presentations and workshops as well as fitness, relaxation, and nutrition tips from the pros. With one of the largest wellness areas at sea, AIDAmar offers the best environment for such a journey. Four saunas with connected relaxation area await guests in addition to a wellness oasis with an extraordinary whirlpool, novelty shower, and private sun deck.

Along the way, AIDA guests will experience the origins of the sauna cultures native to each country. At its conclusion, the journey will continue from September 13th to the 14th back in Erding for further sauna enjoyment in saunas heated to 25 different temperatures located on a 13,600 m² campus. Two wellness specialists have teamed up with AIDA and Therme Erding to put together an unparalleled sauna packet.

The program will be boosted by the expertise of the European Waterpark Association. The quality association for water parks and thermal spring parks will offer engaging presentations all about the international history and tradition of sauna culture.
